This would most definitely be one of the best spots to build a main house should you need a bigger home. The fruit trees and vine is all planted in this area. You even find an old outside "longdrop" toilet hidden away in the bushes.

Outside the cottage is a carport with a storage area that you could use for a workshop if you like. The slab (foundation) of a workshop that was previously there can also be used to extend this. The storeroom has the solar system with an inverter and battery stored safely as well. Eskom electricity is still connected and gets used as backup for the 3KVA solar system. They still have a 3-phase connection ,should you prefer to use it. The geyser is electric/solar . They have a borehole that fills a big reservoir at the entrance of the property and this serves all the irrigation and firehose points that you will see every 50 to 100meters down the driveway to the cottage. You can also fill the water tanks at the cottage with this water should there be a very dry spell, but they have been using rainwater alone for years for the household and drinking purposes. The rainwater tanks around the house holds approximate 6600liter storage. 

The small built chapel creates a place where you can talk to your Creator or meditate on the beauty of your surroundings. 

The 2 bedroomed laborer's cottage with one bathroom and open plan lounge and kitchen has a lovely fireplace in the kitchen and a small verandah facing the northern side. Just another place on this property where you can sit and admire the beautiful and magestic Outeniqua Mountain range. The cottage has a chicken coupe in the backyard with wendy house as a garden shed. In the front there is a small built braai area. This cottage has a charm of its own and is situated across the road from the fenced and netted in veggie garden where you can plant your household veggies. 

The surveillance cameras at the entrance where you come through the automated gate not only gives you peace of mind as far as security is concerned, but I am sure catches a few shots of wildlife that you can only dream of witnessing. In this wild untouched area you should be able to witness quite a lot of wild animals you will not see in more built up areas. Birds, plants and animals are completing the picture of perfection to the property.
